Yeah I am shopping like crazy. :D Durga Puja shopping fever has started, but more on that later. Currently, I was looking for some nice formal trousers, and I chanced upon Myntra, which was having 50% discount sale going on certain brands and products. And I decided to check it out.
ABOUT:
Myntra.com is India’s largest online fashion and lifestyle store for men, women, and kids. Shop online from the latest collections of apparel, footwear and accessories, featuring the best brands. We are committed to delivering the best online shopping experience imaginable.
MY EXPERIENCE: On signing up, Myntra offers coupons worth Rs.1000 (2 X Rs.500) which can be used on a purchase of Rs.1500 or above on non-discounted products. I got greedy and availed both the coupons in consecutive two purchases.
Surfing the site is easy, and there are varied options for apparels, footwear, accessories, etc. The offers COD and Free Shipping on orders above Rs.500, however, do check your pincode for availability of COD before placing the order.
I chose COD payment as usual for both my orders. They have a very systematic processing technique. After I placed my order, I got a verification code on my registered mobile number, which when entered on the site, confirmed my order on the spot. No hassles of waiting for a confirmation call. ;) After placing my order I received a copy of the invoice in my mail. I received another mail about the dispatch of my order a few hours later on the same day. They promise to deliver within 7 days, though I received my order in 2-3days, in both the cases and they notify the same through email/sms. Here is a pic of my first order,
The apparels are packed in MYNTRA printed white plastic packaging and they provide additional box packaging for beauty/skincare/fragile products. However, I would have preferred if they took care of packaging the clothing items in some boxes too, as in my second order the clothing items looked crushed and came out of their covering, due to mishandling of the package during shipment. Also, in my second order one of the Kurti, is a shade or two darker than shown on the site. So, as much as I was pleased with my first order, the pleasure dimmed a little with the second order. Nonetheless, it was a smooth buying experience, both times. No complaints on the size and quality of products.
VERDICT: Good discounts and hassle free shopping, though packaging could be better IMO. Overall, a good shopping experience. Let me know if you ever shopped on Myntra.com and how was your experience.

Thanks Jiya for stopping by :) I love formals too...that second trouser looks a bit like khaki in the pic but it is actually beige and the other one is dark grey as in the pic abv. Sorry for the bad lighting. :|
DeleteI am always skepticals about buying trousers online, i mean how you check for the right fit..and btw how do these fit..
ReplyDeleteyep true. but if you know your size in trousers then you can buy them online too. and these same brands are also available in pantaloons/shopper's stop, so you can get an idea about the fit and avail the discounts online. and in case the size is wrong, you can return/exchange them also.
Deletehmm, thanks for the idea, next time i will try the fit at shoppers stop and see if the same pair is available online..
