PRICE:  Rs.249

QUANTITY: 100 ml

INGREDIENTS:

WHAT IT CLAIMS:
Our triple action body cleanser is the first body wash in India that simultaneously cleanses, treats and improves the appearance of body acne, heat rashes and folliculitis. Proprietary Sali-Q complex delivering 2% bio-active Salicylic Acid is biologically recombined with purifying Triclosan and moisturising actives for truly rapid results without irritation or dryness.
Hypoallergenic - Non-Comedogenic - Oil-Free - Non-Drying - Skin-Safe pH

MY EXPERIENCE: I have sensitive skin, and I do get rashes from insect bites, itching, don't have body acne but occasionally I get one or two acne on the nape of my neck. As this is winter, rashes were not posing much a problem, so my target area was the acne on the nape of my neck. And I am glad that I tried out the Cosmedic SaliQt Active Body Wash, as it dried up those little miscreants in no time.

Cosmedic SaliQt Active Body Wash comes in a compact green bottle, with a pump dispenser. The product is pale green in color and runny in consistency. It lathers moderately, so I need around 5-6 pumps of the product (without loofah) to get a decent lather (considering that it pumps very little product at a time due to the small mouth), and hence it finishes up soon. It has got a sharp medicinal smell, which I am not much fond of but then it doesn't really stay, so that's not a problem. I have dry skin and I was worried that it might dry out my skin giving dry patches, but no it didn't. It only gave a slight skin tightening feeling and I needed to follow up with a moisturiser. All said and done, it does help to dry out acne. I used it on my face too and I had a few large zits that have dried up on continous usage. But it doesn't stop acne from occuring, and it doesn't claim so too. It only helps to soothe them out.

WHAT I LIKED:
  • Comes in a compact, pump dispenser packaging.
  • Works on soothing and drying up acne and rashes.
  • Doesn't dry out skin but then doesn't moisturise either.
  • Cruelty free and vegan.
  • Hypoallergenic and Non-Comedogenic.
  • Affordable, being a brand that is formulated, tested and approved by dermatologists.

WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE:
  • The medicinal smell might be bothersome.
  • Lathers moderately, so I need more amount of the product, hence it finishes up fast.
  • Available online and select outlets. You can buy it from here.

VERDICT: If you suffer from body acne or rashes, and need some relief from the same, then you can try out the Cosmedic SaliQt Active Body Wash, as it effectively soothes and dry out acne. But, don't expect it to stop acne from occuring.

RATINGS:  4 out of 5

    1. I am sure those would be in the permissible limits as it is formulated by dermas only and recently I read Rashmi's post on the myths about these ingredients and I would recommend you to read them too. Trust me it cleared so many doubts. :)

  2. Nice write up as usual... Thank you for liking my posts pooja, makes my efforts worth it :) :) . . I've noticed you are blogging less than usual.. I hope you are fine :) :)

I love salicylic acid washes and looking forward to using this one !!! but i do think that if it claims to be hypoallergenic it must not have parfum, but since it is more of a body wash and not a facewash, i'd love to try this !!

Honestly, I was never much concerned with the ingredients (blame it on my lack of knowledge) but when I heard from others how certain ingredients are so "dangerous" I got mighty scared..and then your posts helped me to clear all my doubts and I am happy to know I am not killing myself..haha :)
