Haul: My shopping experience at Healthkart.com

Hey ya beauties! Yes I know I didn't post anything for last two days, as I was busy with preparing for the project ppt which got over yesterday and it was ... bleh. :P  

Anyways, this post was long pending as I did this haul in November, but never got around to write about it. Better late than never huh? I chose to haul from HealthKart.com as I have never shopped from them before and they were giving a great weekend FB discount of Rs.300 off on a bill amount of Rs.1000 or more on 20th November. And don't we ladies just love discounts? So I thought of stocking on my regular products that I use, by utilizing this discount.

My Experience:

I am sorry but I forgot to take snapshots while placing the order. I ordered two 200ml bottles of L’Oreal shampoo, Lakme Fruit Moisture Honey & Avocado Winter Care Lotion, 2 packs of Whisper Ultra Clean and Garnier Color Naturals.
After I placed my order, I received an operator generated email of my invoice. Few hours later I received a call from their sales representative which I missed for some reasons and so I called back to confirm the order and also asked them to pack everything safely so that there is no spillage and they promised delivery within 4 days.

Now comes the “kahaani me twist” moment. After 3 days, neither I got any order confirmation mail from them nor the products. So, I again emailed them on 23rd to query about the same. They immediately apologised and dispatched my order on 24th.  I was okay with this as I know due to the discount offers, delays might occur. So, I received the product on 28th.



The products came in a huge box safely sealed from outside. 

Now comes another twist, see below.


Yes I wished they had taken more care to make sure all the products are packed safely after I made a repeated request to do so.


Thank God, there was no spilling and they bubble wrapped the Shampoo and the Lotion together. The Mfg. dates were alright though (One of my blogger friend got some old products). 

I have mixed feelings about this site. They sure have an extensive line of products. My suggestions would be to improve their packing and delivery services. Also they have limited number of shades/variants or most of the shades/variants are out of stock for many products. It would be better if they stock the whole range of the products.

  6. I too have mixed feelings.. I ordered a Deborah Milano blush and it was broken when I received it. Now they are telling me to courier it back :(

  7. I had one problem with HK-one of their products had MFDs of July 2010!!! However-from UT-I got them all with MFDs around Nov 2011-also HK has bad packaging :(

    @Prachi Ya these are exceptional cases...I was okay with the delay in the delivery but the packaging of the garnier products made my temper go high :|

  11. i ordered a whey protein from this site i have received the package im yet to open it.I just hope its not a fraud product coz iv spent like 3300 bugs on it

    1. I think they do have a proper quality checking and processing dept. since they stock so many health related products. So I think and hope ur product would be aunthentic.

  13. hi.i want to order home pregnancy test but dont want this to be reveled to the people i live with. will the package that i would receive have the details like the name of the item ordered written on it.please clear my doubt.

    1. Hi Pooja,

      As per my knowledge, they send the box with an invoice wrapped on the top which contains the lists of products mentioned there. If you want to order, you can specially request the operator who would call you for order confirmation, to not reveal the order list or the invoice on the outside.
