Lumiere S&B Bar Pucker Scrub Review

Hey friends! I guess with the whole craze for Body scrubs, Face scrubs, Foot scrubs, we definitely need a Lip Scrub in our collection to keep that pout beautiful forever. Today I will be reviewing the Lumiere S&B Bar Pucker Scrub that I received from Lumiere Cosmetics.

PRICE:  $5.99

QUANTITY: 1 oz.

INGREDIENTS & DIRECTIONS TO USE: Brown sugar, castor oil, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil, mango seed butter, tocopheryl, glycerine.
“Perfect for dry winter lips! Simply massage a bit onto your lips to exfoliate, then wipe or...lick off! “

MY EXPERIENCE: I have used it quite a few times before going to sleep and following up with a lip-butter. Here is what I think about the product.

WHAT I LIKED:
  • The scrub is very mild and it contains very fine particles of brown sugar which is not harsh to feel.
  • It has got a spicy smell very different from other lip products and I find it quite interesting.
  • It gives a nice, smooth effect to the lips after scrubbing and wiping it off.
  • I think it would be a great help for the dry, chapped lips in winter.
  • The packaging is  nice and airtight. But I am not sure whether it would be travel friendly or not. However, the product display on their website shows a tub packaging, quite different from the sample I received.

WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE:
  • The oiliness/moisturisation evaporates after a few minutes and one needs to follow up with a lipbalm/lip-butter.
  • Availablity in India is an issue and one has to rely on online shopping.
VERDICT: I don’t have any qualms with the product and it does delivers. But, you can also dupe something similar at home. You can buy this product from their website.

RATINGS:  4 out of 5

  2. I hate how all these scrubs look!:))))

I use a strong moisturising cream with a toothbrush for myself, or a paper towel on other people. I'm still looking for that perfect lip scrub, that doesn't look disgusting:))
